Caloundra Framing has been providing a personal, professional custom framing service of the highest quality for customers along the Sunshine Coast, and worldwide, for over 14 years.
As part of the vibrant Sunshine Coast community, our growing family likes to do our part, and Caloundra Framing has a designated charity that we support every year. As a locally owned company, we also like to give something back to as much of the local community as we can. As we can’t possibly accommodate all the requests for support, we instead donate framing from time to time.
For example, we may give a gift voucher, or provide custom framing for charity balls or auctions.
Sometimes, however, a special opportunity may present itself, and we were delighted when we were contacted by Australian artist, Jason Swain. Now living and working in the USA, Jason asked if we would frame a special painting of Daniel for the Morcombes and Channel 7 subsequently did a news story on the painting and custom framing.
The Australian rustic timber frame selected by the Morcombes perfectly complemented the painting, and we think this is a fantastic illustration of the value of professional framing. The end result was a beautifully presented piece of artwork, which will BE sure to be treasured for years to come.
As a picture framing business, we’ve always loved helping veteran’s display their war medals and other memorabilia with the reverence they deserve. We’re happy to be able to offer a little more with our medal replication service. We take great care and pride re-creating war medals with accuracy, so that their legend and the legend of the recipient can live on for generations to come. Listen to our interview with the ABC here and watch the story on fallen soldiers here. You can also read about “Man on a mission to paint Aussie soldiers” here.
As a Sunshine Coast business, we were honoured to be selected to be part of something that has touched the lives of so many Sunshine Coast locals.
